The aim of this workshop is the further training of the participants on the subject of marketing & social media, photography and video production. Well-organized content and campaigns are of great importance for a production like the Krearte Festival, especially in this day and age, when half of life takes place on the Internet. The workshop begins with an introduction to audiovisual production and online marketing. In addition, the participants can ask questions on the subject, which our team of experts will be happy to answer. The introduction is intended to teach the participants how to deal professionally with advertising in social networks and to deepen existing skills.
Basically, no previous knowledge is required to participate, and everyone should be familiar with the use of social media such as Facebook or Instagram. In addition, every participant should have a smartphone with a halfway professional camera, because without highly professional equipment it is already possible to create attractive content for the documentation of the program. The quality of the content is not only determined by the equipment used, it often depends more on the content and the presentation.
With the help of their smartphones, the participants should visit the individual festival workshops and produce and collect content for further processing. Said content includes: photos, videos and short interviews of the participants and actors. The content obtained in this way can be evaluated by our professional team in the “Post Production Lab” in the evening, improved and commented on if necessary. The content will then be used to promote the KreArte Festival. Here, our team is also available to provide advice when it comes to the right wording, storytelling or the right time to distribute the content. At the end of the festival, NamaStay eV will create a documentation of all content and postings that will be used for an analysis of the current situation. Here you can once again learn something that can benefit a future production of the festival.
This workshop is a collaboration of the socio-cultural association NamaStay – Social Justice Lab e.V. and the Fernblick GmbH. The international association NamaStay – Social Justice Lab e.V., based in Offenbach am Main, was founded in 2019 by students of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences as a network for sociocultural project development and implementation. The name NamaStay reflects their vision: Based on the yogic term “Namasté,” which implies a fundamental attitude of unconditional mutual respect, acceptance, and appreciation, “NamaStay” symbolically stands for the question of social justice and how social spaces can become places where we like to stay.
Meeting the standards of professional Social Work, the network creates sociocultural projects with the mission: “to learn from the past with the innovation of the future, exploring the world and our own culture for a brighter today.” As a social justice lab, it explores the various interrelations between art, culture, and social realities, aiming to make art, culture, and aesthetics accessible to everybody. With the Fernblick GmbH, the socio-cultural sector encounters high end event producion and gain insights and advice form the expert. The Company has sucessfully established serveral labels, brands and event series that attract thousends of visitors from all over europe every year, like “Hotel digital”, “Flussperle”, the surfweek and or course their famous “Stadt Land Bass Festival”:
